What Is Web 2.0 Anyway?

Before Web 2.0, the Internet was basically a couple of one-way streets: surfers visited websites and received information, or created their own websites and dispensed information. In both cases, information basically reached a dead-end.

Web 2.0 has changed all that. With the proliferation of blogs, wikis, social bookmarking, video hosting, cluster maps, and so much more, the Web has become truly interactive and multilayered.
